I am Wilfred Nas, born october 4th 1970, living in 's-Hertogenbosch in the Netherlands. I am a father of two boys and a freelance user interface consultant
This blog is my own personal site, created to be filled with code, links and other stuff. Just for me and no one else, if you like it and even read it let me know. I hope someone will, but if not this is for my personal entertainment. And a usefull place to keep all my links, code and ramblings.
Work
I make a living being a freelance user interface consultant. My main focus in on the front end, ranging from ui design to ui development. What I do there varies from pure building front end's to (what I really love doing) consulting on that.
With that I mean, that I can help people build better websites and reach new goals.
What I tell my friends is, that I make a living sketching and promoting common sense, which is pretty accurate... I sketch ui's and following that I sketch the design of the jsp or .net code to the developers. The same guys I keep nagging about standards and NOT adding too much code. I keep promising cake and stuff to people I they can find anything in my code that does nothing, but so far no one has collected.
Clients
I do this work for clients as the anwb, Agis zorgverzekeringen and more.
I am also active in the dutch 'Fronteers' as head of the diplomerings commissie, trying to raise the bar for front end developers.
